How many different layouts are in the building?

This building is unique with 15 different layouts and 5 different balcony styles. The building features 1 and 2 bedroom suites. Some of the two bedroom suites also feature a den. The largest unit is 1159 sq ft, and the smallest unit is 558 sq ft. We worked hard to create a variety of units to help support a variety of lifestyles.

Does the building have storage?

Yes, the building does have indoor storage units and we have included this space in your rent. The storage lockers vary in size, with the average unit being 44” x 72”. If you require some special storage requirements we may custom build some storage to suit your needs. There would be a monthly storage charge for this service.

How many parking spots available?

The building has 58 designated parking stalls so 1-2 spaces depending on unit.

How is the unit heated/cooled?

Heat and air conditioning is provided by a GE Electric heat pump. This system is thermostatically controlled and also features a hand held remote controller. These units are top of the line pumps and meet all the requirements of todays energy efficiency codes.
Each unit also features back up baseboard heat that can provide the ability to set temperatures in a room by room basis.

How to maintain my HRV?

How secure is the building?

Your key to your unit will get you into the building. Your unit also features an intercom system that can allow you to buzz in any guests. The building has security cameras located at the entry, common area hallways, and the storage units.

Where is the mail delivered?

The mail will be delivered just outside the building,beside the existing mailbox, on Highland Park Drive

How is garbage and recycling being taken care of?

Their is no garbage shoot. It will be the responsibility of the tenants to make sure their garbage is taken to the designated garbage location.

What about blinds/curtains and TV mounts to be installed?

Tenants can provide blinds and mounts that will suit their tastes. They must be mounted by our maintenance staff. There will be a small fee for this service. The tenant is encouraged to leave these items if they leave the apartment. This helps to save on the associated expense to repair any damage this can cause.

Are pictures allowed to be hung?

Absolutely, as we want to make your apartment feel like home. We just ask that appropriate hangers be used. If something bigger requires a special install, please talk to us to see if we can help. Our goal is to ensure no damage is done to the building.

Are pets allowed?

This will be considered on a case by case basis. Pets must be authorize by the landlords. NO Large dogs will be considered.

What kind of appliances are included?

Beautiful stainless steel fridge, stove, over the range microwave, and a dishwasher have been provided in the kitchen. Full size stackable washer and dryers have been provided for the laundry room.

Is there an elevator?

Yes! The only apartment in Petawawa with an elevator. The building also features a beautiful entry and spacious elevator lobby area.

Is this a Senior Building?

No! This building appeals to seniors, but will be available to all mature and professional tenants. This building will be smoke free, and offer a quiet and friendly atmosphere.

What are the basement apartments like?

The basement apartments are very well lit with a below grade terrace. These units offer the ability to walk in or out from outside without having to access the main lobby entrance. This can be very convenient if you have a small dog or cat.

Are the apartments all inclusive?

In general…No. We may offer some all inclusive fully furnished units on a case by case basis. The building is individually metered so you will set up and revive your own bill from hydro one. The building has been built with extreme efficiency in mind. We have surpassed code requirements in this regard. We have provided top of the line heating and cooling systems and we have insulated our exterior walls beyond the building code requirements. We feel this is an investment for the long term enjoyment of our tenants.

Can we install a satellite dish?

Sorry. It’s just not something we want on this beautiful building.
We have provided for Cogeco cable service and NRTC infrastructure to the building. You can compare packages from either company and decide what best suits your needs.

I also have talked to NRTCO and they have put a package deal for tenants in the building.
